In the project’s Files tab, all files can be managed and organised centrally. You can create your own folder structure and store files in those folders—similar to the file system on your computer.
Uploading and storing files
- Files can be uploaded to tasks, in a status update, or directly to the project.
These files are automatically displayed collectively in the Files tab.
Create folders & move files
- You can create as many folders as you like in the Files tab.
ClickNew folder
in the top right. - Files can be moved to the desired folders via the context menu.
Link files afterwards
- If a file is uploaded directly in the Files tab without a task reference, you can link it to a task afterwards.
Typical workflows at a glance
- Create your project documents using individual folders.
- Stay organised: see at a glance in which folder or task a file is used.
- Use the move function to relocate files flexibly.
- A file’s link to a task can be adjusted at any time — so your files remain logically organised.
Notes
- Via each file’s three-dot menu you can
move
,download
, ordelete
files. - Use the breadcrumb navigation above the file list to switch quickly between different folder levels.
