🗓️ Planned releases
We kindly ask for your understanding that we cannot provide specific timelines for the release of new features. We always strive to ensure that we do our best work to make smenso in line with our vision. Along the way, we will continuously implement improvements and also work on the mentioned features as quickly as possible.
New workload view
Complementing the Timeline view, this new view will display the workload of each team member who has assigned tasks with effort during the selected time period. Each person's workload will be compared to the capacity set for them, taking into account individual absences.
Absence management
Maintaining absence types like time off or paid vacation time, assigning absence quotas per person, defining approvers and finally recording absences & approvals.
Real-time editing
Simultaneous editing of any view, project or task will soon be possible without limits. The team can collaborate on shared content, anytime, with any device.
Improved management of flavors (user-defined fields)
The selection menus for flavors are revised to provide better clarity for a large number of fields.
New personalization options
Custom project icons, Choice of multiple themes, customizable colors, customizable workspace logo, selectable home views per project, and more.
Improved favorites
Favorite projects, pin frequently used views, or always have individual tasks at hand.
Revised detail view for tasks
We reorganize the detail view for tasks, giving more space, and more focus on the important things.
Revised board views
The board views are made more flexible to use and more transparent.
Sharing public links
Saved views, e.g. on a task list in a project, or a timeline view in the project, will be shareable with a public link. This will allow third parties who do not have access to smenso to easily view this information in their browser.
Improved (global) search
There will be more options when searching and filtering search results. In addition, the presentation of the search results will be more clearly arranged.
Automations
Automatic triggering of actions within smenso will take the platform to the next level. A variety of if-then automations will be available out-of-the-box (e.g. change assignees when status or folder changes, or change priority when due date is approaching, and so on - many things are possible!
More hierarchy levels
Go deeper and optionally use more hierarchy levels, in addition to Project > Task > Subtask.

✅ New Gantt view
A new Gantt view will be provided in addition to the Timeline view, which will graphically display both tasks and subtasks in parallel to the list. In addition, it will be possible to create and visualize baselines, as well as plan projects according to the critical chain method.
✅ Project creation wizard (including templates)
The creation of projects is simplified by a wizard. The management of project templates is improved.
✅ Microsoft SharePoint Integration
Easily attach/link files from company MS SharePoint or Google Drive to tasks.
✅ Enhanced notification options
smenso will optionally be able to send more notifications about defined events, such as watched tasks or approaching due dates. The selection of notifications will be personalizable.
