In My Tasks, you collect and organize all tasks that are relevant to you β regardless of whether they come from projects or were created by you personally. This helps you keep an overview and structure your work according to your own workflow.
Accessing βMy Tasksβ
You can find My Tasks as a dedicated item in the left-hand navigation. From there, you can switch between views, apply filters, and build your personal structure.
Views
In My Tasks, you can switch between different views depending on how you prefer to work:
- List view: For a quick overview, sorting, and editing many tasks.
- Board view: For a visual representation and working across columns/statuses.
- Files view: To focus on files and attachments related to your tasks.
Filters
Filters allow you to narrow down your tasks precisely β for example by Status, Time period, Project context, or other criteria (depending on your configuration and the available fields). This way, you see exactly the tasks that are currently relevant.
Tip: Combine filters with your folders (see below) to create fixed working views for recurring situations (e.g. βThis weekβ, βWaiting for feedbackβ, βHigh priorityβ).
Custom folders
In My Tasks, you can create personal folders to structure your tasks according to your own system. Folders are especially useful for:
- thematic organization (e.g. βCustomersβ, βInternalβ, βPersonalβ)
- work phases (e.g. βTodayβ, βThis weekβ, βLaterβ)
- roles/responsibilities (e.g. βReviewβ, βTo-doβ, βWaitingβ)
Personal tasks & personal project
Tasks that you create directly in the My Tasks area are automatically stored in your personal project. These tasks then exist within this personal project and can be managed there.
Practical tips
- Switch between views: Use the list for quick editing, the board for visual work, and files for attachments.
- Combine folders + filters: Create reusable views for your daily work.
- Routine check: Start your day in βMy Tasksβ to prioritize open items right away.
