Minimum requirements

smenso generally runs in modern browsers – no installation is required. Additionally, smenso is a responsive web app, meaning it is also accessible on Android and iOS mobile devices (both smartphones and tablets), offering an optimized user experience tailored to these form factors.

Device Requirements

For smooth usage – especially when handling large data volumes and many real-time calculations (e.g., formulas in lists, workload views with many users/tasks) – sufficient RAM is critical.

• Minimum (functional, not recommended): 8 GB
  On older devices with this configuration, loading views or scrolling through lists may result in longer load times.

• Recommended for most users: 16 GB
  Stable for typical workflows. However, with very large data volumes, some views may still face limitations.

• Recommended for large data volumes / power users: 32 GB
  Sufficient reserves for views with a high volume of data and real-time calculations. 

• Very large data volumes / peak loads: 64 GB
  For exceptionally memory-intensive scenarios.

Notes

• With many tabs open simultaneously, modern browsers (Chrome/Edge) alone may already consume a lot of RAM (> 8 GB).

• For best performance, we also recommend a high-quality NVMe SSD.

Display / Resolution

• Minimum resolution: 1366×768
• Recommended resolution: Full HD (1920x1080) or higher (2K / 4K)
• Supported zoom levels: optimal at 100%, 125% also possible
