In Troubleshooting, admins can review and reset permissions in the workspace. This is helpful when, after restoring a backup or making other changes, certain functions no longer work correctly – e.g., when users can no longer see tasks or projects.
Note: Troubleshooting is only available to workspace admins.
How to open Troubleshooting
- Click your profile picture in the top right.
- Select
Workspace Settings. - Navigate to the
Troubleshootingsection.
In the Troubleshooting area, you will find the action to review and update permissions.
Review and update permissions
In Troubleshooting, the button Update permissions is available. This action checks the permissions in the workspace and resets them if necessary, correcting missing or inconsistent permissions.
How to run Troubleshooting
- Open
Workspace Settingsand go toTroubleshooting. - Click
Update permissions. - Wait for the process to complete, then review the behavior in the workspace.
Notes:
- The process may take a few moments depending on the size of the workspace.
- Have affected users log out and back in if necessary.
- If you are unsure when to run Troubleshooting, coordinate with your internal admin team.
