In the workspace settings, you can configure when time entries are allowed, for example in the future or past.
You can find the settings under: Settings โ Time Tracking
Time Tracking in the Future
This setting determines whether employees are allowed to record time for future days.
- Allowed: Time entries can also be created for future days.
- Not allowed: Time entries for future days cannot be created.

Here you define how far back time can be recorded or edited.
- Allowed: Time can be recorded without limitation in the past.
- Not allowed: Time tracking for past periods is locked after a defined number of business days.

- Existing entries cannot be edited or deleted.
Exception
Admins and users with the appropriate permissions can still make changes.
Time Tracking in Locked Tasks
Here you specify whether time can be recorded in tasks with restricted access (๐ symbol).
- Allowed: Time tracking is possible.
- Not allowed: No time can be recorded.
Visibility of Time Entries
Here you define whether you can see the time entries of other members.
- Show: Time entries of other members are visible.
- Do not show: Time entries of other members are not visible.
If Show is enabled, you can additionally specify whether the recorded time is hidden.
