⚙️Rename default project master data fields

Three system standard fields in the project master data can be renamed workspace-wide:

  • Project folder
  • Project type
  • Location

These fields are used for displaying and categorizing projects in the portfolio list and portfolio board. The new name applies to all members and guests across the entire workspace - including in the project creation wizard and all list views.

Note

Renaming only affects the field name. The selectable values of these fields (e.g. the individual project types or project folders) are managed separately. See the article Adding, editing, and deleting project master data field values for more information.

 

Renaming fields

  1. Open Projects in the main menu
  2. Select the 3-dot menu in the top right of the portfolio
  3. Select Rename fields
  4. Adjust the field names as desired. Optionally, you can also enter an English term — this will be displayed when the system language is set to English.
  5. Confirm with Save
