FAQ
Is any data lost when I archive a project?
No. All data is fully retained. After reactivation, all tasks, documents, and project data are available again as usual. There is no automatic deletion.
Why can't I see any tasks when I open an archived project?
In archived projects, views such as List or Board are disabled and tasks are no longer displayed. The data is fully intact and will be visible again immediately after reactivation.
How do I find archived projects?
Open the 3-dot menu in the top right of the project portfolio and select Archived projects under Options.
What is the difference between "Restore" and "Temporarily restore"?
Restore reactivates the project permanently. With Temporarily restore, you choose a time period – Today, 1 week, or 1 month – after which the project is automatically archived again.
What is the difference between an archived and an inactive project?
An inactive project remains fully editable – all views and tasks are visible, and only notifications are suppressed. An archived project is closed for active work: views are disabled and tasks are no longer displayed. It is suited for projects that are definitively complete.
