Details
Stakeholders are project participants, interest groups or organizations that are actively involved in the project or are influenced by the course or outcome of the project and influence the course or outcome of the project. Stakeholders can cause the project to fail, but they can also make a decisive contribution to its progress. For this reason, a stakeholder analysis in project management is an important factor in project success.
In stakeholder analysis, the following points are basically involved:
- Identify potential supporters and promoters for the project
- to keep obstacles and resistance, which could emanate from certain persons or groups, in view at an early stage
- Identification of potential project opponents
- Not to overlook potential victims and bring them on board
- Complete recording of the individual goals of each stakeholder
The knowledge about stakeholders is the basis for the implementation of stakeholder management, the creation of a communication plan, the setting up of project marketing, the planning and implementation of risk management.
Necessary steps for targeted stakeholder management are:

List view
In addition to the board view, the tasks of a project can be viewed in a list view and tasks can be edited directly in it. This way several stakeholders can be managed even more clearly. It is important to show or filter the "Stakeholder" flavors.
Stakeholder-Widget
The widgets always show aggregated data from the project tasks on different topics. The Bubble Chart can be configured for a clear presentation of the stakeholders. The power and support are selected on each of the two axes, the bubble size shows the effort to "care for" the stakeholder. The bigger the bubble, the more intensive the support effort. With this type of visualization, all stakeholders in the project can be clearly represented. To configure the chart, select Configure Chart from the three-point menu.
