An important component in the implementation of projects in companies is the definition of a project life cycle.

Using the project folders you can easily and quickly adapt the project life cycle on your own.

Different roles can be used to determine who is allowed to "develop" projects in the life cycle and who is not. This results in a gate model that can be used and adapted very flexibly.

We recommend to map this as workflows, which can be realized via a flavor. Create a flavor "Workflow" with the following values:

• 0 created
• 1 requested
• 2 deferred
• 3 enabled
• 4 rejected

This flavor can be used universally, for any kind of release workflow. The possibility to filter for flavors and trace the course of the feed makes this procedure ideal for this purpose.

When the workflow is released you can move the project to a new phase. If you have other things that need to be done before the workflow is released (e.g. working through a checklist as subtasks or setting up necessary documents) you can easily add this to the workflow task and assign it to the appropriate people.
