Exporting Lists to Excel
The new export to Excel allows for a direct transfer of your project portfolio, your task list or your time records into one of the most widely used tools for data analysis and reporting in XLSX format. This significantly simplifies processing.
Previously, creating an Excel file was only possible via the detour of CSV format, which required specific knowledge.
You can find the new export menu by clicking on the download icon in any list view.
Please note that the current column selection of your view is always exported. Active filters are also taken into account.
More Grouping Options in List View
With the introduction of multiple groupings, we offer the possibility to group data in list views according to several criteria at the same time. This new level of data organization supports you in simplifying the presentation of complex information structures and in more easily recognizing connections.
Choose one, two, or more criteria for grouping your data, e.g., a first grouping by folder
, and additionally by priority
.
The grouping is naturally saved in custom views.
A positive side effect is that through the Group by
menu, it is now also possible to directly group by all displayed fields, or even by any flavors in this menu. A grouping no longer has to be added exclusively via the column, in the new selection menu all fields and flavors in the workspace are available.
Note
The new grouping menu is currently only available in task lists in projects. We will gradually incorporate it into other views (portfolio list, board view, Gantt view, All Tasks list).
New Role Privilege "Manage Times"
With this update, we take into account the feedback that we have received from our customers regarding the evaluation of recorded times.
Until now, the evaluation of times in the Time Evaluations
tab was visible to everyone with the roles Admin
or Member
. From now on, the tab is by default invisible to all roles unless they possess the new, extended permission Manage Times
. This authorizes viewing, editing, and deleting recorded times β not just their own, but also the times of other individuals in the project.
Owners can now individually decide who within the team gets the necessary permissions to manage and monitor working hours in their workspace.
To use the new Manage Times
permission, navigate in the Admin
Center
Manage Members
and select the options menu in a member row. The checkbox Manage Times
activates the permission individually.
Note
- Individuals with the Manage Times right can potentially view and edit sensitive personal information, especially working hours.
- Only
Owners
can assign the Manage Times right in the member management in theAdmin Center
. - The Manage Times right can only be assigned to members who are already active (invitation process completed).

- Preview function on hover over all text fields: In the list view, you can now hover over any text field with the mouse and receive a preview of the text directly in the list after a short delay.
Please note that you can still enter direct editing mode by clicking into the cell.

π Fixes
- Values in board view cards did not update correctly when a value was changed in task detail, e.g., the workflow status.
- Deleted teams that were still assigned in tasks could no longer be removed from tasks. Now, they are automatically removed from all contexts upon deletion.
- Translation error in the filter menu corrected
- In plain text fields, the @mention function was deactivated. This was mistakenly active but cannot function sensibly in a plain text field.
- When Members were assigned the special role "Owner", the corresponding permissions were available in the Admin Center, but various links were missing in the user interface, e.g. for inviting new members. This has now been fixed.
