Updates to the Workload View

The Workload View has been expanded to provide detailed insights into the workload of teams and individuals.

• Formatted display of total capacity in the selected period:
  
• The team filter now includes all teams in the workspace, not just your own teams.
• Completed tasks are specially marked
• Subtasks are marked with a new icon
• New options for displaying workload:
  
  • Weekly Summary: Shows planned and actual times on a weekly basis.
  • Use forecast effort: Forecast values are used to calculate the workload, if available. Tasks with an effort forecast are shown with a dashed border.
  • Display of planned time (default): Shows planned efforts in individual rows.
  • Display of available time: Shows remaining capacity instead of planned times.
  • Display of recorded time: Shows recorded time in individual rows.
  • Show empty values: Shows 0h values in empty cells.

Temporary Restoration of Archived Projects

Archiving projects is generally reserved for the Admin role. Members with insufficient permissions cannot archive or restore projects. Since access to contained tasks is also lost, we are introducing the new option of temporary restoration for the Member role.

Choose to restore for Today, 1 Week, or 1 Month. After the selected period expires, the project will be automatically re-archived overnight. You can extend the period or archive the project again at any time.

A temporarily restored archived project appears in the regular project list and is editable.

🌟 Improvements

• Edit Project Master Data Fields in Project List: The project master data fields Project Type, Project Phase, and Location can now be changed in both the board and list views. Grouping by these fields is also possible!
• API Enhancements: 
  • Project endpoint expanded with various project master data fields (e.g., rich text fields for project benefits, project goals)
  • Task endpoint expanded with a field for task dependencies (dependentOn)
  • Task endpoint expanded to export subtasks of all levels
  • Time zone support: The browser's time zone is used for CSV/Excel exports. Via API, the "Timezone" header can be set. The default is Europe/Berlin. This also applies to the export of date flavors.
• Expanded Time Tracking: Display the position of subtasks and tasks within the hierarchy: Hover over the task/subtask icon to find the position.
  
  And: The dialog for day and week-based time recording now remembers which option you selected last.
  
  
• Milestones via Multi-Selection: The action bar for multi-selection now offers a function to bulk mark or unmark tasks as milestones.

• Flavors of archived projects in list view read-only: If the archived projects are called up in the project list, the contents of flavors are not displayed if they are shown in a view. The flavors are available and editable when the project master data is opened via the three-dot menu > Manage project. However, we have now made the (seemingly empty) fields in the list view read-only to prevent unintentional changes to flavors in the master data of archived projects.

• Updated Task Duplication: In case you ever need to "mass duplicate" a specific task across all projects in the workspace, take a look at the duplication menu! There is now an option to distribute a task to all projects under certain conditions. The most important condition: The folder containing the task must also be present in the target projects; otherwise, it will be skipped. Not enough? Then select the Create folder globally option to create the source folder in all projects.
  This is a handy feature if, for example, many similarly structured projects have already been created from a template and one or more tasks need to be added later.
  
  
  
• Logging of column markers in a project: Logging of column markings in a project: As soon as a column is highlighted in color or a status is assigned in a project, such actions are immediately recorded in the activity log (feed) of the project.
• New field in tasks "Forecast effort": There is a new field in the task dialog: Forecast effort. It serves as a supplement to the Planned effort field, e.g. to be able to provide a more precise indication of whether the original plan has changed during the runtime of the task. The value is relevant for the output in the utilization view with regard to the effort of a task.
  On the one hand, differences between the plan and the forecast are pointed out, and on the other hand - if the special "Use forecast" view is activated - the forecast values are used to calculate the effort, if available.

🐛 Fixes

• The sorting of flavors of type "Relation" in a project list view did not work properly and was apparently random. A relation flavor can theoretically have multiple values, so it is now always filtered by the first value of the field.
• Fixed CSV/Excel export of times (output was sometimes non-functional)
• Flavors of type 'Relation' were not resolved correctly during exports. Titles of linked tasks/projects are now displayed.
• Import of project benefits and project goals fields via API now correctly displayed in the interface.
• Duplication of tasks did not include all subtasks (all levels). Now fixed.
• Various text and translation corrections
• Filter corrections:
  • Text corrections
  • Fixed filter in All Tasks list: Filtering by Assigned and Contains One Of gave incorrect results, now fixed.
  • Fixed filter in task list: Filtering by status (workflow) showed incorrect status values in the filter. Now corrected.
• Permissions of tasks within a project template were not correctly transferred when creating a project from the template. Private tasks are now always correctly created, permissions retained, even if the person who created the project from the template does not have permissions (and may not see them).
• Duplication of projects did not correctly duplicate tasks with special permissions (e.g., visibility). Now fixed.
• Tooltip corrections
• Editing rich text and plain text fields in the list view sometimes did not work. Changes are now correctly saved.
• Moving subtasks below another subtask had errors in the selection dialog. Now fixed.
• The global time tracking icon was shifted due to a browser update. Now corrected.
• The archive function for projects is now hidden when permissions are insufficient.
• When exporting a list that contains flavors of type "Formula", which in turn use the expression asType("string"... there was an output error in the export for the formula - now corrected.
