Description

Labels can be individually customized through configuration options and protected from unwanted changes. This feature allows you to lock label editing so that their settings can no longer be accidentally changed or removed.

 

Functions and options

Label configuration is done through the context menu. The following options are available in the settings:

  • Lock configuration editing
    → Prevents changes to the label’s configuration settings. Only administrators and the person who enabled the lock can then edit the settings.
     
  • Delete label permanently
    → Labels can only be permanently deleted via the configuration menu.
     
  • Copy GUID
    → Copies the label’s unique identifier (GUID) to the clipboard.

 

Lock or edit a label

  1. Open the context menu for the desired label.
  2. Select the option Configure.
  3. Check or uncheck Lock editing of settings.
  4. Click Save to apply your changes.

 

Remove a label

Labels cannot be deleted directly via the context menu. To permanently remove a label:

  1. Open the Label Configuration.
  2. Click Delete permanently.


     

 

Additional information

  • If Lock configuration editing is enabled, only the person who enabled it and members with the Admin role can disable the lock again.
  • Locking labels does not prevent them from being assigned or removed from tasks.
  • When Lock configuration editing is enabled, the label can no longer be renamed or have its color changed. It can only continue to be used as is.
