In the Files tab of a project, all project-related files are collected—regardless of whether they were uploaded directly to the project, attached to tasks, or used in status reports. This way, you find everything in one place and can keep your project files well organized.
Files in the Files Tab
In the Files tab, you automatically see all files created in the project context. This also includes files from tasks and status reports.
Create Folders
- Open the project and switch to the
Filestab. - Click on
New Folderin the top right corner. - Enter a name and confirm.
Tip
You can quickly switch between folder levels using the breadcrumb navigation above the file list.
Move Files
You can move files to another folder at any time - for example, via the context menu on the file and the Move option.
Assign Files to a Task Afterwards
If you upload a file directly in the Files tab (without reference to a task), you can still assign it to a task afterwards. This keeps your filing flexible, even if you haven't sorted everything during upload yet.
Note
Via the three-dot menu on a file, you can, for example,
move,downloadordeletefiles.- You can see at a glance in which folder (and, if applicable, in which context) a file is used—this helps with tidying up and orientation.
