Create task from comment

A new task or subtask can be created directly from a comment. The comment text is automatically transferred into the description of the new (sub)task.

How to create a (sub)task from a comment

1. Open the desired task.
2. Scroll to the Comments section.
3. Hover over the comment that should become a task.
4. Click the ⋮ menu (three-dot menu) to the right of the comment.
5. Choose one of the options:
   • Create task from comment to create a new task.
   • Create subtask to create a new subtask within the current task.

The new task opens immediately so you can adjust the title and other fields. When using Create subtask, the new subtask also appears in the subtask list of the current task.
