In the timeline, you can use various keyboard shortcuts to navigate faster, adjust the view, or select multiple tasks at the same time.
Navigation in the timeline

SHIFT + mouse wheel
With this keyboard shortcut, you can quickly navigate horizontally through the timeline, i.e., scroll left or right.

CTRL + right mouse button
With this combination, you can move freely within the timeline. Hold downCTRL, right-click in the timeline, and drag the mouse pointer in the desired direction.
Zoom in the timeline

CTRL + mouse wheel up/down
With this keyboard shortcut, you can zoom in or out of the timeline and adjust the zoom level more quickly.
Select multiple tasks

SHIFT + right mouse button
With this combination, you can select multiple tasks. You can then edit them together or display the dependencies of the selected tasks.
Depending on the view and zoom level, the timeline display may change. Especially for large time ranges, it helps to combine navigation and zoom to reach the desired area faster.
