Description
If another person is currently editing the same task, a short message will appear in the top area of the detail view with that person's name or icon. This way, you are informed in real-time that someone else is working on the same task.
Showing who is editing
As soon as someone makes changes in a task or in the list view, the rest of the team will see it displayed as follows:
- Task detail view: Above the title, a notification appears, for example, "
Batman
edited just now". - List view: With simultaneous access, live updates show who is currently editing a row (task) in the list.
Benefits
- Conflict prevention: You can see immediately if a team member is editing the same task, helping to avoid unnecessary overlaps or duplicate work.
- Transparency: The team can see in real-time who is currently working on a task.
Note
The message appears automatically and remains visible until you reload the view or the task.
Conclusion
The editing message keeps the team informed when multiple people are working on the same task simultaneously. This increases transparency and supports better coordination in day-to-day project work.
