The search in smenso lets you quickly and easily find content across the entire workspace—whether projects, tasks, files, or comments.
You’ll find the search field in the top toolbar. Click the 🔎 icon or use the keyboard shortcut CTRL + K to open search.
Search suggestions and results
As soon as you start typing, matching results appear. The results are clearly divided into categories, e.g.:
ProjectsTasksFilesComments(when available)
Clicking a result opens the corresponding object directly in the workspace.
Filters and options
Above the results list, various filtering options are available to refine your search:
Sorting:Best match (default), Last updated, or Recently created.In project:Shows only results within the selected project.More filters:Filter by creator, status, project, or archiving status.
Example: New search
The following view shows an example of the new global search. It opens as a central window in the foreground and displays your recent activities as well as live search results. Hits are clearly grouped by time period (e.g., “Today”, “Last 7 days”, “Last 30 days”).

Search in smenso can also be operated very efficiently via keyboard.

- You can also use search to quickly return to recently opened tasks or projects—just press
