✨ New Features
🔍 New Search
Our workspace‑wide search has been completely revamped: it's not only faster and more accurate, but also provides significantly more entry points and filter options—ideal for reaching results without detours.
Quick Launch & Keyboard Flow
-
Ctrl + Kopens the search, and the keyboard navigation lets you swiftly browse through results. - Upon opening, you immediately see recently used tasks & projects – sortable and filterable (e.g., last opened/created/updated).
Flexible Sorting & Precise Filters
- Sort search results by relevance (best matches) or recency (most recently created/updated).
- Use Quick Filters: tasks only, comments only, content from specific people, your own content, or a combination of all that, and much more.
- Limit by projects (single or multiple) and status — combine filters freely for pinpoint results.
Seamless Continue
- Your last search is retained when reopening — you jump right back in where you left off.
- Clear it with one click and start fresh if you want.
In short: Fewer clicks, more hits, maximum control – the new search is a real productivity booster.
🔁 Rework of Workspace Settings
Admins get a bit of love in the release 💖 with a redesigned settings page, new time‑tracking options, a central Label Manager and the new Flavor Manager they receive multiple tools that make managing the workspace significantly more comfortable.
The previous settings in dialogs have been moved to their own settings page – clearer, more structured, with more possibilities.
A small change was also made regarding permissions for certain setting options: Admins can now also adjust settings for Absences, Holidays and Time Settings (previously only possible with additional HR permissions).
⏱️ Allow/Prevent Time Booking in Past or Future
In the workspace Settings you can now control whether times may be booked into the future – or from a certain day in the month no bookings in the previous month are possible.
🔣 Central Flavor Management
With the new Flavor Manager in the Settings admins get a powerful tool to organise Flavors in the workspace efficiently – all centralized.
In an intuitive list you can filter, edit, duplicate or delete existing Flavors – also via multi‑edit. Numerous configurations, such as visibility, lock status or used flavor contexts, can be adjusted directly in the list. Also new: the display of where a Flavor is currently used: in how many projects, tasks, status reports or time recordings – and which exactly! It also shows who created a Flavor or last edited it – and when.
Creating new Flavors is now also possible in one central place. This way, as an admin you always retain full control over all structural elements of your workspace.
🏷️ Central Label Management
Labels can now also be managed centrally: With the new Label Manager in the Settings you can overview and edit all labels in the workspace in one place.
You can see at a glance where a label is used – e.g., in projects or tasks – and easily adjust name, color or associations. The maintenance of labels becomes significantly easier and more consistent – especially in larger workspaces with many users.
🔒 Fix Columns in List Views
In wide lists you can now pin any columns so that they remain visible during horizontal scrolling (e.g., Title, Assignee, Status). The pinning can be set per view and is saved in saved views. This way you keep important context information in view – even with many other columns. Simply click in a column on the context menu > Pin. This works in task and project list views.
📅 Monthly View in Utilization
Besides the usual daily view, the utilization view now also offers a new monthly representation Total Utilization (Monthly) – ideal to view longer periods and check rough capacities.
What’s special: The utilizations are pre‑calculated in monthly slices in the backend and automatically updated every 12 hours – or recalculated manually on request. Even larger periods, e.g., the entire current year or nine months into the future, can therefore be displayed much faster and with better performance.
Loaded data is automatically cached – reloading all data when reopening is no longer required.
📆 Skip Weekends in Gantt View
Weekends can now be skipped in the Gantt view when using the assistant (for conflict resolution).
📋 Show Subtasks in Board View
Subtasks can now optionally be displayed in the Board view. In the Board view, subtasks appear as regular cards, but with a visual cue that they have a parent task. Up to seven levels of subtasks can be displayed.
💬 Create Task from Comment
From any comment you can now directly create a new task or subtask in the current task. Perfect when you need to act quickly and convert an ongoing discussion into actionable items! Click the 3‑dot menu.
🧠 Recently Opened – Now as a Start Widget
The new widget in the Start area shows your recently opened tasks and projects directly on your home screen – for faster re‑entry.
🌟 Improvements
🎨 UI/UX & Usability
- We made several design adjustments for a more modern and harmonious look.
- The input fields for Flavors of type 'Number' have been improved: the input field has been completely redesigned so that entries are smoother, even in the task detail.
- Delete dialogs for Flavors and Projects have been revised: we added safety features to reduce unintended deletions, especially for Flavors and Projects.
- The value selection for Flavors of type “Relation” now lists all available tasks (that should appear according to configuration and possible filters): there are no longer restrictions to recently used tasks only.
- Moving a subtask into another subtask within the same task is now possible.
- Bulk‑editing in Time Evaluation and Absences: multiple entries can now be edited at once.
- We made a change in notifications specifically for the project manager stored in a project: they now no longer receive notifications by default for project changes, reducing unnecessary notifications. Project managers can still choose to watch a project via the bell icon and thus continue to receive notifications.
- For tasks set to private, the access type could not be configured during bulk processing – this is now changeable.
🔣 Flavors
- For Flavors of type “Number” there is a new option so that values automatically sum up from subtasks.
-
Copy values tofor Flavors of type “Formula”: formula results can now be copied into Flavors of type “Text” or “Number”.
This only works if either all formula results are numbers, or all formula results are texts! - Conditions for Flavors: configured conditions are now directly visible in the task dialog when a plausibility check fails during value entry.
- Sorting of flavor tables made more consistent: the sorting behavior has been unified.
- Filters supplemented by flavor‑context categories: new options for targeted filtering.
- For Flavors of type “Relation”, folders of linked tasks can now be shown in the relation table.
📊 Workload
- The totals segment now takes into account filters and the totals always relate to the actually visible and displayed tasks in the view.
- Various optimizations in performance, display and interaction.
🏎️ Performance Enhancement
- The portfolio list now loads significantly faster even with large numbers of projects and displayed data.
🐛 Bug Fixes
📝 Tasks
- Duplicate a task with an approval workflow: It was theoretically possible to circumvent the approval by duplicating a task. Now the workflow for tasks with embedded approvals is reset to the first workflow step.
- Task links inserted in editor fields and opened by click were in some cases opening tasks twice – this is now prevented.
- Moving the position of subtasks in the task detail via drag & drop now works reliably.
- Duplicate task: title adjustment did not work when choosing a different target folder. The title is now correctly applied when duplicating.
- When moving tasks with subtasks to a new project, the old project‑ID remained in the subtasks – subtasks now receive the correct project‑ID.
🧩 Flavors & Fields
- Flavors of type “Status” were not functional when used in tasks. They now work as expected.
- Summation at grouping level of lists for Flavors of type “Formula” did not work anymore – group totals are again calculated correctly.
- Flavors of type “Formula” that reference their own task were not exported correctly: exports now contain correct values again.
- Project master data: It could happen that Flavors suddenly moved from multiple groups into the first (General) group: behavior is now as expected again.
- Removing Flavors sometimes did not remove them properly (Flavors re‑appeared) – behavior is now consistent again.
- The Flavor of type “Status” lost its context and type after publishing a status report with that Flavor: context/type now remain intact after publishing.
- It could happen that the
xfor removing a flavor group was no longer visible when the flavor group had a very long title: the close icon now remains visible. - The profile picture for Flavors of type 'Person' was not displayed – avatars are shown again.
🔎 Search, Filter & Lists
- The filter could intermittently drop out in lists when fields in the task detail were changed: filters remain active and consistent.
- In some scenarios rows in list views would shift to the right after opening and closing details and appear “misplaced” – behavior improved.
- Tooltips of longer task titles in task lists appeared unintentionally & partly incorrectly on hover – tooltips are shown correctly again and only when needed.
🔁 Bulk Actions
- When applying bulk actions, the number of selected tasks could in some cases be reset to zero – selection remains correctly preserved again.
- Applying a template in bulk processing ignored the template’s
Lock Flavor Groupssetting – the option is now applied.
🔌 Integrations
- API endpoint Absences: half‑days can be imported again.
- Jira integration temporarily inactive due to a change by Atlassian – integration is stable again.
