The home area is your personal starting point in smenso. This is where you assemble the information you need most in your daily work – for example, quick access to important projects, recently used content, or upcoming tasks.

Widgets in the Home Area
smenso Basics
- Shows: Written guides and tips on the most important features of smenso.
- Good for: New to the workspace or want to look up a feature? This widget is a great starting point.
smenso Basics Video
- Shows: Short videos that walk you through key concepts and typical workflows step by step.
- Good for: Prefer learning visually? The videos show you exactly where to click and how processes work in practice.
Last Opened
- Shows: Your most recently opened projects, tasks, and views – sorted by last access.
- Good for: Quick re-entry when you frequently switch between a few topics.
Tip
Hover over an entry to reveal three options: copy the link, jump directly to the project, or open the project in a new window.
Favorites
- Shows: Your favorited content (typically: important projects).
- Good for: Want to keep your most important projects always in sight? Use favorites as a permanent anchor on your home page.

- Remove from favorites
- Open project in new tab
- Manage project
- Copy project link
- Duplicate project
- Archive project
- Delete project
My Due Tasks
- Shows: Tasks assigned to you that are due soon.
- Good for: What's coming up today and in the next few days? This widget is ideal as your daily work focus.

Details: The three-dot menu on each task offers the following options:
- Mark as favorite
- Copy link
- Share
- Delete task
Note
The "Delete task" option is only visible if your role permits it.
Tip
Hover over a task to see the folder it belongs to. This lets you immediately understand the context without having to open the task.
List
The home area also includes the list widget. It displays content in a tabular list format and is especially useful when you prefer scanning and comparing entries rather than using charts.
