In the Board View, you can specifically filter, sort, and group tasks. This helps you keep track of tasks even with larger boards and allows you to customize the display to your needs.
Filter Tasks
Using the filter function, you can limit the tasks displayed on the board. This way, only entries that match the selected criteria are shown.
In the example, only tasks belonging to a specific folder, a sprint, and a certain priority are displayed.
- Folder: Show only entries from a specific project area. Depending on the selection, the filter can apply to a specific folder within a project or to folders with a certain name.
- Title: Filter by a specific name.
- Flavor: Filter by a flavor (custom field).
- Additional Filters: Additional criteria can be added via
Add Filter.
Active filters are displayed at the top of the board and can be adjusted or removed at any time.
Sort Tasks
Sorting defines the order in which entries are displayed within the columns.
- Manual: Custom order via
Drag & Drop. - Alphabetical: Sorting by title.
- Due Date: Sorting by deadlines.
- Start Date: Sorting by planned start.
Sorting helps you recognize important entries faster and keep the order on the board clear.
In addition to sorting, you can also structure the board using grouping.
Group Tasks
Grouping lets you define the criteria by which entries on the board are organized. The chosen grouping determines the columns on the board.
In the example, grouping is done by priority. This splits the tasks into columns such as Low, Medium, High, and Very High.
- Folder: Grouping by project structure.
- Status (Standard): Grouping by standard status.
- Status (Workflows): Grouping by status within a workflow.
- Due Date: Grouping by deadlines.
- Assigned To: Grouping by responsible persons.
- Priority: Grouping by priority.
Grouping allows you to flexibly adapt the board to different working methods and project structures.
