In the Board view, you can display subtasks directly. This helps you keep track of even more complex task structures.
Enable Display of Subtasks
In the settings of the Board view, you can specify whether subtasks should be shown.
- Open the options of the Board view via the
three-dot menuat the top right. - Enable the display of subtasks.
- Set up to which level subtasks should be displayed.
The level selection determines how many hierarchy levels of subtasks are displayed on the board. If you only use one level of subtasks, the setting has no visible effect. Differences become apparent only when tasks are nested multiple times.
After activation, subtasks are displayed on the board within the context of their respective parent task.
Working with Subtasks
Subtasks are shown directly in the context of their parent task and help you break down even complex tasks into smaller, manageable steps.
Subtasks are displayed on the board via a counter on the task card. This allows you to see at a glance how many subtasks exist and how many are completed.
- Subtasks can be opened and edited.
- Progress is visible directly on the board.
- Dependencies and structures are preserved.
