A quality register provides transparency about which quality requirements need to be met within a project and their current status. Results, required rework, and responsibilities are documented centrally and can be tracked throughout the project.
Capture quality criteria in the project
A dedicated Quality Register folder can be created for the quality criteria of a project. Each quality criterion is captured as a separate task and can, for example, be identified using the Qualität label.
The current result of each quality criterion can be documented using the Qualitätsergebnis Flavor. For example, the following values can be used:
- Offen
- Bestanden
- Nacharbeiten
- Nicht bestanden
The quality criterion can be described in more detail and supplemented with all relevant information. If further action is required, the necessary measures can be documented directly, assigned to responsible people, and tracked through to completion.
Track progress in the Board
In the Board view, the tasks in the quality register can be displayed clearly according to their current status. Using the Qualität label, the view can be filtered to show only the relevant quality criteria.
This makes it easy to see at a glance which quality criteria have not yet been started, are currently in progress, or have already been completed. The Qualitätsergebnis is maintained independently of the task status and represents the quality assessment of the respective criterion.
Evaluate quality results in the List view
In the List view, quality criteria can be compared in a compact format. The Qualitätsergebnis Flavor can be displayed as a separate column. Together with the Qualität label, this makes it easy to see which result has been recorded for each quality criterion.
The view can also be filtered by the Qualität label and by specific values of the Qualitätsergebnis Flavor. This makes it possible, for example, to display only quality criteria that are still open.
Find quality criteria again
Consistent naming and structure make quality criteria easy to find again later. Tasks from the quality register can also be found across projects using the global search.
Best Practice
- Capture quality criteria as separate tasks in a shared quality register.
- Identify the tasks consistently using the Qualität label.
- Maintain the respective result using the Qualitätsergebnis Flavor.
- Use the task status to track progress and the quality result for the quality assessment.
- Record required rework as specific measures and assign them to the responsible people.
- Use the Board for an overview of progress and the List view for targeted evaluation of quality results.
