With the SharePoint integration, you can link a SharePoint folder directly to a smenso project and display it as a separate tab within the project.
SharePoint remains the central storage location. Files can be opened, uploaded, and downloaded directly in smenso. Changes in SharePoint are also visible in smenso; permissions and versioning continue to be managed in SharePoint.
Requirements
- The SharePoint integration must be enabled in the workspace.
- You need access to the SharePoint folder you want to link with the project.

Link a SharePoint Folder to a Project
- Open the desired project.
- Go to
Manage project > Settingsvia the three-dot menu. - In the section Link SharePoint folder to project, click
Add folder. - Select the desired SharePoint folder.
Select Folder
After clicking Add folder, the folder selection opens.
The selected folder will then be linked to the project and displayed as a separate tab.
Possible Issues
If you cannot select a folder or a folder is not displayed, first check whether you have access to the corresponding folder in SharePoint.
Also verify that the SharePoint integration has been enabled for the workspace.
Use SharePoint Folder in the Project
After linking, the SharePoint folder is available directly within the project. You can open, upload, or download files there as usual.
