Automatic Planning with the Timeline Assistant

With the new Timeline Assistant, you can have tasks with end-start dependencies checked for possible optimizations and automatically move identified tasks.

1. Select Assistant from the context menu bar:
2. Choose one of the following options:
   1. Resolve overlaps
   2. Start date ASAP
      
      
      
   3. Confirm the selection by clicking Preview
   4. The Timeline Assistant will first show you a preview of the proposed optimizations. You can then decide whether you want to apply the changes or discard them.
