In the Time analysis view and the My times area, you have the same versatile filtering options as in other smenso views. This lets you search and evaluate your time entries based on various criteria.
Apply filters
You’ll find the Filter button above the view. Clicking it opens the filter dialog. There you can filter by time properties (e.g., period, person who recorded the time), task or project properties, flavors (custom fields), and other criteria.
Operation follows the familiar filter logic in other smenso views: choose a field, set a condition (e.g., is equal to or contains), optionally enter a value, and click Apply filter.
Tips for using filters
- Multiple filters can be combined and nested with
AND/ORoperators. - You can create complex filter groups for more targeted evaluations.
- The
Filter buttonindicates how many filters are currently active. - Filtered views can be saved and reused.
Typical filter examples
- Show all of your own time entries for a specific week
- Filter only the time entries for a specific project or task
- Evaluate times by status, label, or flavor (e.g., customer, category)
Note
You can find a detailed overview of all filtering options in smenso in the article Using filters.
